Will William Barr be a Better AG for the Cannabis Industry? | Marijuana News, Investing

Yesterday William Barr sat in front of a Senate congressional committee as the nominee for Attorney General. Senator Cory Booker asked William Barr whether or not he though federal funds should be used to prosecuted state legal marijuana business. Will Barr answered “No.” He is not a proponent of legalized marijuana but feels that so many states have legalized cannabis now that it should be legal on the federal level and that all the investments into the cannabis space should not be undermined.
