“The ‘D.C.’ Now Stands for Dank Chronic,” Says Stephen Colbert

marijuana-legalizaton

Whether its getting ‘free weed’ from Led Zepplin’s Robert Plant, or declairing that Sanjay Gupta has crossed over to the “Dank-Side,” Stephen Colbert delivers both hard-hitting and satirical examples of just how important marijuana is to Americans.

On 11/5, during his Comedy Central program, “The Colbert Report,” Stephen commented on the ‘still-fresh’ news that Marijuana is now legal in our nations capital – you can see the video below.

Are these quips too soon? While marijuana can be possessed (under 2 oz) legally, there is still no legal way to grow and sell marijuana for recreational use. At this stage, it can be viewed that ‘Washington Dank Chronic’ still has some budding to do, however, the most difficult part is over….the vote.

Any predictions on what may happen in DC over the next few months?

Just for fun, here is a GIF of Mr Colbert smoking what appears to be marijuana on his show.
