The Stoner Sloth Campaign Is The Funniest Piece Of Anti-Marijuana Propaganda We’ve Seen Yet

Is this for real? Seriously, we’re not sure.

Satirical marijuana content has proven to be widely successful in getting the attention of the ‘stoner’ community. However, these Australian anti-marijuana commercials in a catagory unto themselves.

“The whole thing is the work of Australia’s New South Wales Department of Premier and Cabinet, Australian media outlet The New Matilda reports. (The New Matilda does publish some satire, but this story was not marked with a “satire” tag.)”  – The Huffington Post

Australia has very relaxed sentiment toward marijuana, but possession of the plant can land you in prison for 2 years and face a fine of up to $1,500 US; yet, the image of a pot-smoker as a lethargic wookie doesn’t seem to reflect the mass amounts of research and testimonials that prove otherwise.

We are suspicious of these ads and how serious they are. What do you think?

And for those of you who are really into this saga – Check out THE REVENGE OF THE STONER SLOTH:
