Simple Infused Russian Buttercream Frosting

This simple infused Russian buttercream frosting is the perfect addition to any of your sweet treats! Ingredients: 2 sticks infused butter **softened to room temperature 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk **at room temperature 1 teaspoon vanilla extract or other flavoring you desire 1/2 teaspoon salt Food coloring *optional Step-by-Step Instructions 1. Prepare the Butter Ensure your infused butter is completely at room temperature before starting. It should be soft but not melted , making it easy to whip into a smooth consistency. 2. Whip the Butter Use a mixer fitted with the whisk attachment , whip the butter on high speed for 5 minutes . Occasionally scrape down the sides of the bowl to ensure even mixing. The butter should become light, fluffy, and pale in color. 3. Add Sweetened Condensed Milk Reduce the mixer speed to medium and slowly add 1/3 of the condensed milk at a time . Continue mixing until completely blended before adding the next portion. Repeat this step until all the condensed milk is fully blended into the butter. 4. Add the Flavoring Mix in the vanilla extract or other flavoring and salt. Add food coloring if desired. Increase the speed to high and whip for another minute to finish. How to Store Infused Russian Buttercream Can be left out for up to 6 hours if the temperature is cool. Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days . Before using, let it come to room temperature and re-whip for a few minutes. Freeze in an airtight container for up to 3 months . Thaw in the refrigerator overnight, allow infused Russian buttercream frosting to return to room temperature, then whip before using.
