New York City Cannabis Film Festival | Marijuana News, Cannabis Culture

The New York City Cannabis Film Festival took place on January 13th at the Hours of Yes! in Brooklyn this year. This NYC Film Festival was established to honor and appreciate the highly creative aspect of cannabis culture.

There is a ton of support for complete marijuana legalization, and advocacy groups and events like the NYC Cannabis Film Festival have done a lot to spread awareness. Their mission is to elevate cannabis culture while reversing the cannabis stigmas. The festival showcases cinematic achievements in a number of genres – including documentaries, comedies, and dramas.
The founder of the NYC Cannabis Film festival, Michael Zaytsev, says that the only requirement for film submissions is that it has a cannabis-positive intention.
We’re so excited for the future of cannabis in The Big Apple, and we can’t wait to follow the journey of the bill to recreationalize marijuana.
