Listen to Christine Sclafani talk about this new luxury weed concept. Weed that has fancy packaging and that has lots of brand marketing behind it. I would love to hear what you think down below in the comments.

I’m curious what you all think about this new luxury weed concept. I am Christine Sclafani the culture correspondent for TNMNews and I keep seeing the term luxury weed come up. My understanding of luxury weed is that it is weed that is expensive. That’s it.

It’s weed that has lots of brand marketing behind it with elaborate packaging and therefore a higher sticker price. There are very expensive edibles and topicals being made, and I suppose some of these cannagars could be considered luxury weed too. Brands like Beboe, Kiva and Defonce Chocolatier are really going above and beyond to make weed into some elaborate delicacy and that is cool with me.

I love fashion and artistry and I think presentation means a lot to consumers. But, I am willing to bet a lot of you out there see it all as very silly. What happened to the good old fashioned dime bag? Am I right? I would love to hear what you think down below in the comments. Until next time, this is Christine for TNMNews.
