Legend Cheech Marin On ‘About That Time!’

The Cannabis Renaissance Man Stops By The Studio!

Quintessential American marijuana icon and comedy legend, Cheech Marin, stops by on this latest episode of ‘About That Time!.’ He gets toasted and reflects on his storied career which has spanned over 40 years and, of course, his seemingly undying love for all things marijuana! The crew indulges in a few joints of some of the finest cannabis strains out there before diving in to discuss topics such as the changes in marijuana culture, attorney general Jeff Sessions and his misguided anti marijuana legalization efforts, California finally legalizing recreational marijuana, as well as his passion for Chicano art. While he has been focusing on opening the Cheech Marin Center for Chicano Art, Culture and Industry (expected to open 2020), Cheech is still going strong these days. He is currently on tour around the country with his equally iconic comedic partner and counterpart, Tommy Chong!

You can catch the full length episode for yourself below and other great episodes by visiting Merry Jane via the link below. And, if you do get the chance, be sure to go see the legendary Cheech & Chong when they come to a town near you!

Our latest episode kept it classic with very special guest Cheech Marin. An OG in the world of cannabis entertainment, Cheech and his longtime partner Tommy Chong have kept California up in smoke since the ‘70s. Now, after more than 40 years in the game, Cheech stopped by the MERRY JANE studios to roll up, smoke out, and share his wealth of knowledge. After our favorite catatonic co-host Dope as Yola blessed our guest with a cannon of a joint, we dug into Cheech’s social media, finding stories about killer dogs in Malibu and artistic explorations in South Florida.
