Mark August 1, 2016, down your calendar, it should be an important date to remember… at least if you’ve been waiting for the world-class disaster that is the Schedule One classification of cannabis to be changed.

Marijuana.com reports:

That’s right, embarrassed by failure and pressured by public opinion; it’s the day the US government will reclassify cannabis as a “Scheduled Two” narcotic. Officially making medical marijuana available by prescription in all 50 states.

Theoretically changing a critical date epitomizing the highest holiday on every patient’s calendar, an anonymous attorney for the DEA admitted to a reporter for the Santa Monica Observer – the DEA plans on rescheduling marijuana on August 1, 2016, thereby legalizing medicinal cannabis nationwide.

Soon to be all green ....

Soon to be all green ….

By simply changing the plant’s current Schedule One status to a Schedule Two, medical marijuana will instantly become legal in all 50 states with a doctor’s prescription, true research on the plants cannabinoids will finally be allowed, and “medical marijuana” doctors may soon be little more than a distant memory.

With flashes of wild clarity, the anonymous DEA attorney noted, “Whatever the law may be in CaliforniaArizona or Utah or any other State, because of Federal preemption this will have the effect of making THC products legal with a prescription, in all 50 states.”

Acknowledging America’s overwhelming support for medical marijuana, the unidentified attorney pointed out the obvious, “Marijuana enforcement is a big drain on DEA resources.”

Now that’s a Father’s Day gift. Roll over 4.20, it’s almost 8.01!
