Day 2 – Vegas!

The Vegas stop was great!  The veterans met with donor Bruce Perlowin, CEO of Hemp Inc. and he made another large donation to get the boys across the country with comfort. In addition, Garyn Angel of MagicalButter hosted a fundraiser in the Cosmopolitan Hotel. This was a nice evening for the vets to mingle with sponsors.

Check out some quotes from today’s stop!

“After meeting the veterans and the supporters that are involved with the Weed For Warriors Project and the Cannaball Run, and hearing their individual stories, my commitment to this cause has not only been reaffirmed, it has grown exponentially. Thus, I mede an even larger donation to this organization. I firmly believe their voices must be heard all across America. Our nation needs to correct the injustice perpetrated on our Veterans: Our heroes.” -Bruce Perlowin, CEO of Hemp Inc.

“What Weeds for warriors represents the need for broader healthcare choices – the choices that the veterans have been given now, lead them to addiction, becoming zombies and eventual suicide. It is time for a change.” Veteran Dannion Brinkley, Co-founder of Twilight Brigade, New York Times best selling author, 38 years Hospice volunteer, and 30 year volunteer at the VA

“I am thankful and honored to have the support of Bruce Perlowin and his company Hemp Inc. on this tour for veterans. Without Bruce and his philanthropy, this message would continue to be silenced. – Zachary Victor

“Vegas was amazing and it had nothing to do with sun city, but everything to do with people like Bruce of Hemp Inc. Bruce is changing hearts and minds as well as embracing what makes america great, freedom of choice and leveraging our market based economy to give life to those doing the right thing! A rarity for a public corporation in this country now a days. – Sean Kiernan

“Bruce was such an honor to meet and a very insightful to our community. I loved listening to his stories and his plan to change the world, very humbled by his generosity.” ~ Chef Nugs

“Traveling with the Weed For Warriors Project on the Cannaball Run has been an eye opening experience. We treat our veterans with absolute disrespect. The amount of pharmaceuticals that they are prescribed is unacceptable. I fully support medical cannabis to treat war trauma. I am proud to be a part of this cause. With the support of cannabis industry leaders such as Bruce Perlowin of Hemp Inc., the industry sends a clear message that we are ready to provide a spotlight on the message for clear change.” Cynthia Salarizadeh, Green Tech Industries
