Aquarela – A Picture About the Transformative Beauty and Raw Power of Water

Shot in 96 FPS, Aquarela Opens this Weekend

For any of you that love some visual stimulation while feeling nice and lifted, checkout the trailer for Aquarela, opening this weekend in Los Angeles. It’ll be coming to a theater near you in the next couple of weeks too. It is shot in 96 frames-per-second and overwhelms the senses with the might of the ocean and water. IndieWire refers to it as the most dangerous movie ever made.

Released by Sony Pictures Classics and directed by Victor Kossakovsky, the film journeys the entire Earth showing the power of water. Many of us participating in the cannabis legalization movement also have strong feelings towards the environmental problems the world is currently contending with. The melting of the polar ice caps is one of the most immediate threats we must all find a way to mend.
